  • I just started having lower back pain and I am in my 50’s. I have tried many different medications to try and relieve the pain and it helps short term.

I have tried different kinds of exercises but didn’t think of trying yoga.

How long does it take until it will help relieve the pain? Weeks or months if I try yoga 3 times a week?

Thanks for your help. I will definitely be trying yoga to help my back pain.

I cannot speak as a medical professional, however, there are doctors of Osteopathy that recommend yoga as a manipulative treatment as part of their therapeutic regimen that is worth investigating.  Please read midway down the article where I discuss them here to learn more.
